Fiano is a Southern Italian grape variety from the Campania region. An ancient grape that has a documented history going back to Roman times.
Colour: pale yellow
Bouquet: aromas of honeydew, orange peel, hazelnut and spice
Palate: dry, medium-bodied wine with a richer almost waxy texture. A seamless palate that is somewhat exotic with citrus notes. An age worthy wine supported by plenty of natural acidity.
Wine-making: hand-picked, whole bunch pressed, wild ferment, no acid adds, aged in old French oak barriques for six months on lees.
